My older brother is high on the list. I grew up traveling around the Pacific NW either playing or watching him play. He was an unselfish player and a leader on the team and I admired that and aspired to do the same. Professionally, Kasey Keller showed similar traits throughout his career. Pelé (Edson Arantes do Nascimento); I will never forget the first time seeing him perform a bicycle kick on film at soccer camp. |

| Personal Note |

Circa 1982 I received an award for “Most Improved” player at Northwest Soccer Camp at Camp Casey on Whidbey Island. The award meant a lot to me at the time and afterwards I continued to work hard to play on competitive teams through high school. I think as players and coaches there is always the opportunity to improve our skills and reach the higher goals we set for ourselves.
Can’t wait for the 2015 Women’s World Cup hosted in Canada!
