]]> http://northshoreselect.org/home/581704.html NSC continues partnership with Soccer West and Adidas 04/13/2012 11:10 AM http://northshoreselect.org/home/513710.html NSC will continue it's partnership with SoccerWest and Adidas as its uniform and equipment provider for the 2012 season.  We will continue to use the Adidas Tiro II uniform in forest and white through 2013, so teams can be assured of getting at least two years of wear out of uniforms purchased this year.  In 2013, we will select a new Adidas uniform with similar longevity.

We will also continue to get our miAdidas custom NSC warmup jacket and the Tiro II warmup pant.  Coaches will be similarly attired by the Club.  Teams will also use Adidas practice balls and other equipment from Soccer West for training and competition.

Uniform ordering will take place on-line after team formation in June.  Additional NSC-logoed items (hoodies, rain jackets, beanies, etc.) will also be available for players and parents.

As part of this arrangement, all NSC players will receive a 10% discount on all items in SoccerWest retail stores (coaches get a 15% discount).  Just provide your email address at the store and they will verify your NSC membership and give you your discount.

]]> http://northshoreselect.org/home/523347.html Tryout Results to be posted online 03/23/2010 06:01 PM http://northshoreselect.org/home/412399.html As we prepare for our first round of 2010 tryouts this weekend, the NSC Program is preparing to report results online.  This online reporting of tryout results is a response to overwhelming parent and player feedback to deliver results quickly and simultaneously. 

Tryout results will be posted within the Tryouts section of the website by Age Group and Team.  Results should be posted within 72 hours after the last tryout has concluded.

  1. Usability,  and
  2. Brand Awareness

Our former web presence was old, outdated and difficult to organize information on.  Our new website is hosted by Demosphere, Inc, a top tier sports website company who host sites for organizations like the USL where the MLS Sounders formerly played.  This website delivers some key capabilities including:

  • Host individual team sites
  • Online tournament registrations & results
  • Coach Resources Library
  • Administrative tools for program administrators
  • Video hosting
  • and much more...

We are also able to take a strong step forward towards a new brand to go along with the on field strengths of our program.  Each NSC team will have their own "home" website where their own webmaster can create pages and provide content for the team.  Coaches and program administrators each receive their own email alias from our new domain, northshoreselect.org.  

We are looking forward to fully utilizing the capabilities represented by our new home on the web!
