Hello Coaches,

Here is the practice field schedule for the week of September 28th.   https://1drv.ms/x/s!AmJVUXxJa3PzggYqSubWuKE_bpK-?e=WX4kS3

Here is the link to all the Field Maps: http://northshoreselect.org/teams/coaches/rma-instructions-for-coaches-and-volunteers (there is an update to the Maltby Fields!)

Notes for This Week:

  • As always, check your start and stop times closely and double check your spots for the week so that you don’t miss one.
  • For grass fields, PLEASE reference the email that was sent out last week with set up and take down instructions.  This is YOUR responsibility to check the schedule and see if you are the first or last coach on a grass field!
  • For turf fields that are lined (WSF, NC, BFH) each team will put out/pickup their own cones.
  • If you are sharing a field please follow the diagram Richard provided and coordinate which side you will be on with the other coach.
  • This was a tough week for scheduling. With light diminishing and lack of lit fields it has forced us to consolidate the number of “slots” we have at each unlit field.  There are some Pros and Cons to this.  The Cons are that a handful of late slot teams had to be moved to the middle slot (starting around 5:30) and a couple teams had to go to the earliest slot.  The Pros are that most teams have been given longer practice times (close to 1 ½ hours). YEAH!

***NEW*** Important Information about WSF Fields:

  • Our rental is for use of the entire field. Anyone not associated with your team on the field can compromise our use of the field, especially if they are not adhering to the posted rules. (We witnessed poachers with dogs on the field and groups of people eating a meal on the field last week… it happens!)
  • These are highly desirable fields and will therefore attract people that want to try and take a corner or a buffer section of a field.  PLEASE ask them to leave if they do not have permit.  I have attached a copy of our WSF permit to this email. You should have this handy if you are practicing at WSF.
  • Strict observance of the government's safety and social distancing guidelines as well as our Return to Play plan is needed to avoid the loss of these fields.

Important Information about North Creek Fields:

  • If someone is on the field or is trying to use a corner of the field during our reservation time:
  • Our rental is for use of the entire field. Anyone not associated with your team on the field can compromise our RTP.
  • Signage will has been placed around the fields to note that only permit holders are allowed. The sign reads, "non permitted holders must always relinquish the field to designated athletic field permit holders”
  • The City has asked that our coaches ensure the goals are back at the ends of the fields at the end of the day every day.
  • Strict observance of the government's safety and social distancing guidelines as well as our Return to Play plan is needed to avoid the loss of these fields.
  • The Bathrooms will be open on our rental days between 5:00pm and 9:00pm and will be fully sanitized on a daily basis.
    • The City of Bothell has provided a non-emergency number to contact the City of Bothell PD for issues on the field. That number is 425-486 1254.
    • Avoid confrontation but kindly ask them to leave and direct them to the field schedules that will be posted at the kiosk near the restrooms as well as the signage by the entrances to the fields.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Thank you!
